Diabetics Millitus is becoming a very serious health problem in India. World Diabetic Foundation(W.D.F.) has projected that by 2020 India is going to be a capital diabetics in the world having more than 20% of the population suffering with diabetic .Hence R.C. Daund decided to work along with Ashwood Mission Hospital in this area .Gopinath Vidaylaya ,Varwand ,Tal- Daund was communicated for the same and random Blood Sugar check up of all teaching and non-teaching staff along with awareness program was arranged on 27th July. Rot. Dr. Mrs Sandhya Khawte and President Dr. Philemon Pawar gave information about diabetics , its symptoms , complications and treatment , diet and preventative measures . Around 45 teachers were screened during the camp.
