The Rotary Club of Daund, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Daund College, recently completed a project focused on women's health and menstrual hygiene. As part of this initiative, they distributed high-quality menstrual cups with an expiry date of 2035 to ASHA Sevikas and conducted a personal hygiene awareness lecture to educate and empower these frontline health workers. Since ASHA Sevikas visit adolescent girls every month, they can now convey the message about the importance of using menstrual cups. This initiative not only promotes sustainable menstrual hygiene practices and enhances the well-being of the communities but also significantly reduces the waste generated by used sanitary pads, benefiting the environment.
